NY USDA-EXP 032

An experimental variety from the USDA Breeding program out of Corvallis, Oregon. Bred in 2000 and a sister to Triumph, 032 exhibits superior disease resistance and growing traits that make growing it much easier than most other varieties. Late emerging and training with a quick bloom to harvest time makes it a hop that avoids fungal diseases at all costs. 032 is a large bodacious hop variety that cones very heavily. It is gorgeous hop in the field as well as lighter American beer styles and high end lagers with flavors that sit nicely inbetween a German Tettnanger and Perle with Tets Stone Fruity/Tangerine notes mixed with the elegant Herbal, Floral and Fruity notes of the Perle. 032 is a grower and team favorite!
