Unopened aseptic puree lasts up to 12 months at room temperature (70°F or less). Once opened, refrigerate and use within 7–10 days or freeze for longer storage.
How Should Fruit Puree Be Stored After Opening?
We recommend storing in a cooler for maximum freshness, but all our purees can be stored at ambient temperatures (70°F or less) for up to 12 months if unopened. We recommend using the entire bag or drum at one time. If you don't use all of the bag or drum at once, the puree should be refrigerated and used within 10 days of opening. If you can freeze bags or drums after opening, that is even better. We do not recommend freezing unopened products.
Can I Freeze Fruit Puree?
Yes, but we do not recommend freezing unopened products. If you don’t use all of the bag or drum at once, the puree should be refrigerated and used within 10 days of opening. If you can freeze bags or drums after opening, that is even better.
What’s the Difference Between Puree and Juice?
Puree contains the whole fruit's pulp, providing richer flavor intensity, aroma, and texture, which are critical for creating complex, flavorful craft beverages. Juice is more diluted and often lacks the full fruit character brewers seek.
