WCHB-102 aka 2B is a new experimental variety coming from the team at West Coast Hop Breeding in Oregon! WCHB's unique way of thinking about breeding is forward thinking putting sustainability at the forefront of their efforts, ensuring that their hops will be here for generations to come! 102 is a late maturing hop that yields very well with great packability and superior disease resistance to other hops on the market!

WCHB-102 has a clean, sweet citrus-forward profile with an intense aroma impact of apple and pear and hints of lime zest, melon and pine resin. WCHB-102 lends beers an incredible breadth and depth of hop character. WCHB-102 can easily stand alone or be paired up to increase the layered, rich range of flavor intensity! On the hot side we have found that WCHB-102's very low co-humulone levels allow for even more depth of flavor when used as a bittering or partial bittering addition with very low impact of perceived bitterness in beers!

Where Do You Source Your Hops?

We source our hops from independently owned family farms around the globe. They range from a few acres to 1,200 acres with the majority being multi-generational farms dating all the way back to the 1,700’s.

Do You Manufacture Hops On-Site?

Most of our hops are processed on site into T90 pellets. We also have hops pelletized at certified pellet mills around the globe, including BayWa, Tettnang and HVG’s Saint Joann facilities in Germany. Flathead Valley Hops in Montana and Clayton Hops in New Zealand.

What Are My Shipping Options?

For Parcel we offer FedEx Ground and Express as well as UPS Ground.

For Freight we utilized trusted partners specializing in freight shipping.

When Should I Expect To Receive My Hops?

If your order is placed before 2 pm, the order will ship the same day. Shipping times will vary depending on where you’re located.

The Northeast, including Pennsylvania, Maryland, Delaware, and New Jersey, should see the order in 1 to 2 days from ship date.

Shipments going east of the Mississippi River are usually 2 days excluding Central and South Florida.

Mid-West and other states are normally about 3-4 days.

Do You Accept Returns?

Returns are accepted for unopened products only. We do not accept returns on damaged products from shipping, but will work with you and the shipper to get you replacement products as quickly as possible or work with you on company credit.

What If A Package Is Broken During Shipping?

For Parcel shipments, if a package is broken during shipping, do not accept the package. Take lots of pictures and make sure it is reported with the shipper.

For Freight shipments, any damage needs to be reported upon arrival. Make sure to have the driver sign off on the issues and make sure to take as many pictures as possible.

Any instances need to be reported to The HOPGUILD within 48 hours so we can work with the shipper to credit the issues and get you replacements out the door as quickly as possible or work on a company credit.
