Celeste™ WCHB-102 c.v. formally known as 2B is a newly released variety coming from the team at West Coast Hop Breeding in Oregon! WCHB's unique way of thinking about breeding is forward thinking putting sustainability at the forefront of their efforts, ensuring that their hops will be here for generations to come! Celeste™ is a late maturing hop that yields very well with great packability and superior disease resistance to other hops on the market!
Celeste™ has heavenly waves of Passionfruit, Honey Dew Melon and Pine Resin, lending beers celestial breadth and depth of hop character. Celeste™ can easily stand alone or be paired up to increase the layered, rich range of flavor intensity! On the hot side we have found that Celeste's™ low co-humulone levels allow for even more depth of flavor when used as a bittering or partial bittering addition with very low impact of perceived bitterness in beers!
